After School Program

The After School Tutoring and Supervised Play Program is open, for the children of our neighborhood, each school day from 3-5:30 PM. We are located 1/2 block form Hartford Middle School and seven blocks from Belden Elementary School.

Venture Club

Venture Club is the elementary age outreach ministry of First Mennonite Church and Lighthouse Ministries. Children in 1st through 5th grade are invited. During the school year, Club is held every other Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the church.

Jr. High Club

Jr. High Club is a group of 7th and 8th graders who meet every Tuesday night for dinner, games, and Bible study.

Every week we look at a new Bible story that evokes countless theological and personal questions.

We also do special events like camping, laser tag, bowling, and swimming.

The Summer Activities Project

Throughout the summer the Lighthouse organizes activities for the youth of our community. Our goal is to provide safe, enriching activities for the kids while maintaining the relationships formed at our After School Program.
